Yoo Jae-suk's Son's Academic Performance Discussed on 'How Do You Play?'

In the latest episode of MBC's variety show 'How Do You Play?' (놀면 뭐하니?), aired on March 29, 2025, the academic performance of Yoo Jae-suk's son was brought up during a segment featuring 'My Friend's Table.' The episode showcased Yoo Jae-suk and Ha Ha visiting Im Woo-il at his favorite tteokbokki restaurant, where they rang a golden bell to celebrate.

During their visit, a local citizen shared that they were waiting for news about their child's class president election after dropping them off at school. Ha Ha chimed in, mentioning that his child, Dream, is eager to run for the second semester's class president election. When Im Woo-il expressed surprise at Dream's ambition, Ha Ha humbly remarked that children tend to do well in elementary school.

Ha Ha then pointed out that Yoo Jae-suk's son is exceptionally talented, adding that he resembles his mother, Na Kyung-eun, a former MBC announcer. Na Kyung-eun is an alumna of Yonsei University, one of South Korea's prestigious universities, which Ha Ha emphasized. Yoo Jae-suk, feeling a bit embarrassed, asked Ha Ha why he was bringing up his wife's educational background, to which Ha Ha insisted it was relevant, and Yoo Jae-suk reluctantly agreed.

Im Woo-il, taken aback, commented that academic success seems to be hereditary, admitting that he himself struggled with studies. This led to a light-hearted moment as Yoo Jae-suk and Ha Ha felt a bit awkward, but Im Woo-il confidently stated that while it took him longer to succeed academically, he possesses perseverance.

Yoo Jae-suk and Na Kyung-eun, who met during the filming of MBC's 'Infinite Challenge,' are now proud parents of a son and a daughter.
