Yoo Jae-suk Praises Cha Jun-hwan's Appearance on 'You Quiz on the Block'

On the March 5 episode of tvN's You Quiz on the Block (유 퀴즈 온 더 블럭), Olympic gold medalist Cha Jun-hwan made a special appearance after winning the men's figure skating gold medal at the 2025 Harbin Asian Games, marking a historic achievement after 39 years for South Korea. Yoo Jae-suk congratulated him, saying, 'It's been three years since you've returned with gold.' Cha expressed his joy, stating, 'I've had many competitions recently, and I was able to perform well one by one as I hoped. I'm happy to be back on You Quiz after three years.'

Cha complimented Yoo Jae-suk and Jo Se-ho, saying, 'You both still look amazing,' which brought laughter to the set. Jo Se-ho asked, 'How does it feel to be writing history on the ice?' Cha replied, 'It's a great honor and a joyful experience.'

Yoo Jae-suk referred to Cha as the 'face genius of the skating world,' comparing him to Cha Eun-woo, and remarked on his stylish outfit, humorously wondering how he would look in it. He added, 'The youth burning on the ice was truly impressive.'

Cha noted that he has increased his strength and reduced body fat since the Beijing Olympics, indicating a positive change. Yoo Jae-suk praised Cha's performance during the Asian Games, particularly his quadruple salchow, saying, 'The impact figure skaters endure upon landing is eight times their body weight. Cha Jun-hwan withstands a pressure of 504 kg.'

When Jo Se-ho inquired about the feeling during landing, Cha responded, 'I just think, 'Oh, I fell.' I don't think about anything else. When things don't go well, I try to salvage it somehow.' Yoo Jae-suk humorously agreed, saying, 'We know the moment we step out to talk.'
