Yoo Jae-suk Expresses Frustration Towards Bae Jung-nam on 'What Do You Do When You Play?'

On the December 21 episode of MBC's 'What Do You Do When You Play?' (놀면 뭐하니?), Yoo Jae-suk showed significant frustration towards model Bae Jung-nam during a fashion competition. The episode featured a segment titled 'What Do You Wear?' where model Joo Woo-jae, alongside his assistant Kang Cheol-woong, faced off against Bae Jung-nam.

Joo Woo-jae, a seasoned model with 11 years of experience, confidently stated, "I have strong opinions, so I won't be swayed at all." In contrast, Bae Jung-nam, who has been in the industry for 22 years, remarked, "Isn't Joo's boyfriend style quite famous? It's dandy and neat. I prefer avant-garde and vintage styles, so we're different. You should match me with someone similar," he joked.

The teams were divided, with Yoo Jae-suk, Lee Yi-kyung, and Park Jin-joo on Bae Jung-nam's team, while Joo Woo-jae's team included Kang Cheol-woong, Ha Ha, and Mi-joo. The production team explained the rules, stating that they would take photos after styling and submit them for evaluation.

Bae Jung-nam then went shopping at a vintage store, expressing his belief that the best style is what suits the individual. He noted that Yoo Jae-suk wanted a preppy look, while Lee Yi-kyung preferred a classic and dandy style. However, upon seeing Park Jin-joo, he sighed, seemingly lacking confidence.

He suggested scanning the clothes he wanted to try on, but Lee Yi-kyung surprised everyone by stripping down to his underwear, leaving Bae Jung-nam flustered. Bae Jung-nam quipped, "You've gone too far. Are you planning to quit acting?" to which Lee Yi-kyung replied, "Let me try on one piece at a time." Park Jin-joo chimed in, telling Lee Yi-kyung to put on some pants, eliciting laughter.

After struggling with Lee Yi-kyung's styling, Bae Jung-nam shifted his focus to Yoo Jae-suk. Yoo, who had his own fashion philosophy, was unimpressed with the preppy look Bae had chosen for him, stating, "This won't win over there." Eventually, they moved to a neighboring store, and Yoo decided to dress as he pleased, saying, "Forget about Bae Jung-nam; I'm going to wear what I want."

Lee Yi-kyung teased Yoo Jae-suk about his orange jacket and hat, asking if he was going for a citrus fruit concept. Bae Jung-nam encouraged a strong fashion statement, while Yoo defended his choices, saying, "What's wrong with this? It's about finding confidence. Fashion is about wearing what I want, so why should I care?" Bae Jung-nam then pointed out a doll cape, jokingly asking if Yoo was mocking them, which made everyone laugh.

Yoo Jae-suk completed his look with sunglasses, prompting Park Jin-joo to comment that he looked like he was in Paris. Yoo expressed satisfaction, saying he felt like he was channeling Seo Taiji's comeback. However, Park Jin-joo noted that while the three of them matched well, Yoo looked like a bystander.

Meanwhile, Joo Woo-jae's team selected outfits from a boutique. He explained that he aimed to suggest styles that were accessible and easy to replicate, unlike Bae Jung-nam's bold choices. Joo Woo-jae styled Ha Ha in denim and Kang Cheol-woong dressed Mi-joo in a wool knit. He aimed to maintain Mi-joo's youthful vibe while adding a touch of sophistication.

After the styling session, it was time for the photoshoot. Bae Jung-nam, Park Jin-joo, and Lee Yi-kyung posed together for a fashion shoot, while Yoo Jae-suk took solo shots. Park Jin-joo commented on Yoo's back view, saying it looked great, to which Yoo responded, "Are you saying my face shouldn't be in the shot? We're really hurting each other's feelings today, huh?"

As the photoshoot continued, Yoo expressed frustration at only being photographed from behind, insisting he had a street vibe. After switching sunglasses with Bae Jung-nam, the shoot wrapped up with playful banter about posing.
