Yoo Jae-suk Expresses Contentment with His Current Life

On the May 13 episode of SBS's variety show '틈만 나면' (Whenever Possible), popular host Yoo Jae-suk shared his satisfaction with his current life. During the episode, actors Ryu Deok-hwan and Lee Jung-eun joined the discussion. Lee revealed that she graduated from Hanyang University, prompting Yoo to ask if comedian Jo Hye-ryun also attended the same school. Lee noted that Jo was a year behind her and expressed her belief that Jo would eventually succeed, recalling her appearances on shows like '전국노래자랑' (National Singing Contest).

The trio engaged in a relay game of '공기놀이' (a traditional Korean game) with high school students as part of a challenge. Lee admitted to feeling nervous, saying, "My hands are shaking. What should I do?" Despite their initial success, they faced difficulties in the final stage of the game, leading to a tense moment with only one second left. Yoo managed to complete the game, earning cheers from everyone and allowing the students to win tumblers and jerseys.

After the game, they went out for a meal of 국밥 (rice soup). Yoo remarked on the vibrant energy of university areas, reflecting on his own desire to grow up quickly during high school. He stated, "Now, I feel like I want to stay just as I am. This moment is perfect."

Later, they visited a couple who runs a lottery shop. The wife shared her battle with advanced cirrhosis for over ten years, while her husband revealed that he donated part of his liver to her. The wife expressed gratitude, saying, "The doctors advised against the surgery due to my age, warning that recovery might not happen and I could die. I appreciate him for that." The husband added, "I’d rather live ten years together than twenty years alone," showcasing their deep love for each other. The husband played the harmonica while the wife wrote poetry, which Yoo likened to the characters from the show '폭싹 속았수다' (I Got Fooled).
