Yoo Jae-suk Encourages Public Voting for 'Pinggye-go' Awards

On November 23, popular broadcaster Yoo Jae-suk took to the YouTube channel ‘뜨뜬’ to rally support for public voting in the upcoming ‘Pinggye-go’ awards. In a video titled ‘Thanks to All the Members!’ Yoo, who hosts the show, introduced the nominees for the second Pinggye-go awards and urged viewers to cast their votes.
Yoo stated, "Please vote for two candidates for the Grand Prize and three for the Best Work. Voting will be open until November 30 at 11:59 PM." The nominees for the Grand Prize include Nam Chang-hee (남창희), Yang Se-chan (양세찬), Lee Dong-wook (이동욱), Lee Dong-hwi (이동휘), Jo Se-ho (조세호), Ji Suk-jin (지석진), and Hwang Jung-min (황정민).
Notably, Lee Dong-wook, who won the Grand Prize at the inaugural Pinggye-go awards, is once again nominated for the 2024 ceremony, surprising many fans.
Reactions from netizens included comments like, "This is the only awards show where Yoo Jae-suk isn’t a nominee," and "I thought Lee Dong-hwi would have a strong chance this year, but Hwang Jung-min has been making a significant impact in the second half of the year! How will Yoo Jae-suk manage to resist traveling abroad?" Others expressed curiosity about the sponsorships for this year’s event, with one user humorously stating, "I’ve cast my precious vote!"
