YG Entertainment has revealed the second trainee, Chanya (찬야), from their highly anticipated four-member girl group project, 'YG NEXT MONSTER'. On June 16, the company posted a video titled 'YG NEXT MONSTER | CHANYA - 'the grudge'' on their official blog. Similar to the first trainee, Ively (이벨리), Chanya's performance was filmed during the monthly evaluation, showcasing her live vocal skills without any elaborate stage effects.

At just 14 years old, Chanya's impressive vocal ability and mature emotional expression left a strong impression. Her soulful voice beautifully complemented the gentle melody, instantly resonating with listeners. Her captivating gaze and expressive performance added a layer of depth, making it hard to look away.

The highlight of her performance featured soaring high notes that unleashed a pent-up energy, sending thrilling chills through the audience. Notably, after Chanya finished singing, Yang Hyun-suk, the chief producer, remarked that he was "almost brought to tears," reflecting the emotional impact of her performance.

Ively's rap video has already surpassed 19 million views on YouTube, while her dance performance has garnered over 7 million views. Despite being a pre-debut trainee's evaluation video, the total views have reached an astounding 26 million, further heightening expectations for the next four-member girl group, especially with the positive feedback surrounding Chanya.

Additionally, the video concluded with a message indicating that the remaining two members of the girl group will be revealed by the end of this year.
