YG Entertainment Apologizes for Blackpink Concert Seating Issues

YG Entertainment has officially apologized regarding the visibility issues experienced by fans in the N3 seating area during Blackpink's concert held on July 5-6 at the Goyang Sports Complex. The company acknowledged that the installation of a console in front of this section obstructed the view of the stage, leading to difficulties for attendees. To address this, YG had attempted to enhance the viewing experience by adding an LED screen, but this inadvertently caused further inconvenience.

In their statement, YG expressed regret for the situation, stating, "We sincerely apologize for the difficulties faced by those in the N3 section due to limited visibility of the stage." They also mentioned plans to implement follow-up measures for those who reported issues, with further details to be provided through the ticketing platform.

The concert marked Blackpink's first full group performance in nearly 1 year and 10 months, drawing a total of 78,000 fans over the two days. However, complaints arose about certain seats in the N3 area being labeled as 'view zero' due to the large LED screen blocking the stage entirely. Despite a warning about potential visibility obstruction during ticket sales, many fans were disappointed as they could not see the artists at all. Tickets for these seats were priced around 130,000 KRW, prompting numerous refund requests from attendees. YG's response aims to rectify the situation and improve future concert experiences.
