Yeohan to Debut with Unique Story and Heartfelt Ballad 'Seolhwaaeryeonga'

Yeohan, a virtual singer with a captivating backstory, is set to release her debut ballad '설화애련가 (Seolhwaaeryeonga)' on February 2 at 6 PM KST across various music platforms. Produced by Donuts Culture, the song features a 14-piece string ensemble and top session musicians. The title translates to 'The Song of Snowflakes and Sorrow,' encapsulating the deep pain of a man mourning the loss of his beloved in the harsh winter.
Yeohan's impressive vocal range, spanning three octaves, and her ability to convey delicate emotions are expected to captivate listeners, showcasing talent that belies her newcomer status. The song is penned and composed by the renowned songwriter Lookwon, known for contributions to numerous OSTs including those for Davichi and Kim Jaehwan.
As a character who transcends time, Yeohan's narrative begins in the Joseon era, where she longs for her lost love. Transported to the modern era, she embarks on a journey as a singer, using her music to search for her beloved. The accompanying music video will visually narrate this poignant story, featuring a high school Yeohan who grapples with lost memories and unrecognized grief. The narrative intertwines past and present, dreams and reality, with a butterfly serving as a symbolic connection. This global collaboration between Donuts Culture and Vietnam's HKDC took over a year to plan and produce.
The music video will also feature narration by Park Jae-chan, a member of DKZ, enhancing the emotional depth of Yeohan's character arc.
