Yang Soo-kyung Holds Back Tears at Daughter's Wedding

In the latest episode of TV Chosun's '조선의 사랑꾼' (Joseon's Love Fool), singer Yang Soo-kyung struggled to hold back tears during her daughter Yoon Chae-young's wedding, which was revealed for the first time on April 14, 2025. The marriage of Yoon Chae-young, whom Yang adopted after her sister's passing, stirred complex emotions for the singer.

Yang expressed, "I thought my daughter would stay with me a bit longer. But now that she’s getting married, I feel a bit sad. I don’t want to cry. I want to send her off beautifully, and I hope her future in-laws will take good care of Chae-young."

During the ceremony, singer Choi Sung-soo filled in for the father’s role, while Yang's biological son, Byun Joon-ho, held his sister's hand as they walked down the aisle. Fellow guests shared their sentiments, with Kang Soo-jin reflecting, "Memories of raising these kids will flash before my eyes," and Hwang Bo adding, "It’s both a proud and heartwarming moment."

Yang's son-in-law, 26-year-old Hwang Seok-hwan, who works for a foreign corporation, greeted the bride with a bright smile. Byun Joon-ho introduced himself as Yoon Chae-young's brother and best friend, saying, "I didn’t expect my sister to get married so early. But I’m happy she found Seok-hwan, who will love her. Their happiness is my happiness. Thank you all for being here today."
