Yang Ji-eun Wins First Trophy on KBS2's Immortal Songs
In a heartfelt moment on KBS2's Immortal Songs (불후의 명곡), Yang Ji-eun celebrated her first-ever victory, expressing gratitude to MC Lee Chan-won. The 696th episode, themed 'Immortal Way Special,' aired on March 8, featuring special MC Park Kyung-rim alongside notable musical artists such as Choi Jung-won & Jeong Young-joo, Lee Ji-hoon & Son Jun-ho, Seven & JinJin, Ken & K, and Yang Ji-eun & Kim Da-hyun.
Reflecting on her past attempts, Yang Ji-eun recalled her nine previous challenges without a win. She shared her emotional reaction to receiving the trophy for the first time during the 'Artist No Sa-yeon & Choi Seong-soo' episode, stating, "I always wondered what it would feel like to win, and when I finally held the trophy, I couldn't help but cry." Yang Ji-eun also revealed that Lee Chan-won was the first to congratulate her, saying, "I was crying while holding the trophy, and Chan-won rushed to the waiting room to celebrate with me." Yang Ji-eun expressed confidence, saying, "I believe this stage is a chance for Da-hyun and me, who have a background in traditional music, to compete with our seniors."
