Woman Stabbed in Gangwon Province, Suspect Found Dead Nearby

On January 22, around 12:50 PM, a woman in her 40s, referred to as A, was discovered with stab wounds on a street in Bongpo-ri, Toseong-myeon, Gangwon Province. She was severely injured and transported to a major hospital in Wonju, but fortunately, her life is not in danger. The police identified and began tracking a suspect, B, through surveillance footage. However, B was later found dead from an apparent suicide nearby the crime scene. Reports indicate that A and B were a divorced couple. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, believing that B may have taken his own life after attacking A.
