WINNER's Song Min-ho Discharged from Military Service Today

Song Min-ho, a member of the idol group WINNER, is officially discharged from military service today, December 23. He will complete his alternative military service at the Mapo Community Welfare Center located in Mapo-gu, Seoul. Min-ho enlisted in the Army on March 24, 2023, where he underwent basic military training before continuing his service as a social service worker.
Initially, he was serving at the Seoul Mapo Facility Management Corporation but has since transferred to the Mapo Community Welfare Center. During this time, there were allegations regarding his service performance, particularly after he took a six-day trip to Hawaii on October 31, which raised questions about his attendance.
In response to these concerns, YG Entertainment, Min-ho's agency, stated to OSEN, "We cannot provide detailed information regarding the artist's military service. However, the reason for his sick leave was an extension of treatment he was receiving prior to his service. All other leaves were taken in accordance with regulations."
With Min-ho's discharge, all members of WINNER, including Lee Seung-hoon, Kim Jin-woo, and Kang Seung-yoon, have now completed their military duties. In a handwritten letter to fans on December 20, leader Kang Seung-yoon hinted at a full group comeback, stating, "After enjoying a bit of everyday life, we plan to focus on completing around ten songs for our 2024 goals, including sketches for new music. We will do our best to make appearances whenever possible for those waiting for us. I look forward to greeting everyone soon alongside Jin-woo, Seung-hoon, and Min-ho."
