WINNER's Song Min-ho Denies Allegations of Inadequate Military Service

Song Min-ho (송민호) of WINNER is currently facing allegations regarding his military service, but his agency, YG Entertainment, has firmly denied these claims. On December 17, a representative from YG stated, "We cannot provide detailed information regarding the artist's service. However, we can confirm that the reason for his sick leave is an extension of treatment he was receiving prior to his service, and all other leaves have been taken in accordance with regulations."
The allegations arose from a report suggesting that Song Min-ho was not properly attending his duties at the Mapo Community Service Center, where he is serving as a social service worker. The report claimed that he would sign in and then leave to smoke, failing to fulfill his responsibilities.
In response, officials from the Mapo Community Service Center cited reasons such as annual leave, sick leave, and hospitalization when asked about Song Min-ho's attendance. They also stated that due to privacy concerns, they could not disclose attendance records or CCTV footage to the media.
Song Min-ho began his service as a social service worker on March 24, 2023.
