WINNER's Kang Seung-yoon Shares Heartfelt Military Discharge Reflections

Kang Seung-yoon of WINNER has expressed his thoughts following his military discharge. On December 19, 2024, he took to his personal social media to share a lengthy post starting with the dates "2023.06.20~2024.12.19," marking his time in service. The accompanying photos captured various moments from his military life, drawing attention from fans.

In his message, Kang reflected, "My military service, which I began with the desire to be a source of pride for my fans and loved ones, has been filled with precious memories thanks to the comrades I met along the way. It has been a fulfilling year and a half!" He added, "Now, I will live my life to the fullest, including all my fellow soldiers and superiors who shared this journey with me."

He expressed deep gratitude and love for his fans, known as Inner Circle, and his fellow soldiers, stating, "Thank you to our Inner Circle and everyone who has waited for me, as well as my comrades who shared both hardships and joys with me. I also extend my heartfelt respect and gratitude to all military personnel who have served and continue to protect South Korea."

Kang concluded with a promise to return as a better artist, saying, "As a member of WINNER and as Kang Seung-yoon, I will come back with great music and performances, so I hope you will continue to show your warm support. Cheongseong (our unit's salute)!"
