Weekend Entertainment Highlights: Mister Trot 3 Tour, Kyumjae Jeongseon Exhibition, and Movie Seungbu

The popular trot competition show, Mister Trot 3 (미스터트롯3), which has taken the nation by storm, is kicking off its nationwide tour on March 29-30 at the Handball Stadium in Olympic Park, Seoul. The concert will feature beloved contestants such as Kim Yong-bin, Son Bin-ah, Cheon Nok-dam, Choi Jae-myung, Choo Hyuk-jin, and Chun-gil, who will perform their signature songs. The tour will continue to various cities including Jinju on April 12-13, Busan on April 19-20, Daegu on May 3-4, Gwangju on May 10-11, Seongnam on May 17-18, Incheon on May 31-June 1, Daejeon on July 12-13, and Suwon on July 19-20.
Additionally, a major exhibition titled Kyumjae Jeongseon (겸재 정선) will open on April 2 at the Hoam Art Museum near Everland in Yongin. This exhibition, co-hosted by the Samsung Cultural Foundation and the Kansong Art and Culture Foundation, will showcase 165 works by the renowned painter Kyumjae Jeongseon, a master of true-view landscape painting. Visitors will have the rare opportunity to explore various genres of Korean painting, including landscapes, portraits, and flower-and-bird paintings.
Lastly, the film Seungbu (승부) brings the intense rivalry between Go masters Cho Hun-hyun (played by Lee Byung-hun) and Lee Chang-ho (played by Yoo Ah-in) to the big screen. The story follows Cho, who becomes a national hero after winning the first Ing Cup, as he takes Lee, a prodigy, under his wing. After years of training together, their first match ends in a shocking defeat for the master, prompting Cho to challenge Lee once more, determined to reclaim his title. The film highlights the competitive spirit of professional Go, where every half-point counts.
