Webtoon Artist Kian84 Sparks Controversy with Comments on Breakfast and Infidelity

Kian84 (real name Kim Hee-min), a 40-year-old webtoon artist and television personality, has found himself in hot water after suggesting that a wife who doesn't prepare breakfast for her husband might be unfaithful. This statement was made during a recent episode on his YouTube channel, where he met with actress Lee Si-eon's wife, Seo Ji-seung.

While traveling by bus, Kian84 asked Seo Ji-seung if her husband, Lee Si-eon, makes her breakfast. She replied that he does when he has time. Kian84 then inquired if Lee Si-eon ever demands breakfast, to which Seo Ji-seung expressed a desire for clearer communication about meal preferences.

Kian84 elaborated on his views, stating, "Men tend to be fixated on breakfast. It's not just about the food; it gives me a sense of being cared for." He further commented that if he were to date a woman who doesn't make breakfast, he might feel inclined to cheat with a muscular man at a pool or a young trainer at the gym.

Seo Ji-seung challenged Kian84's perspective, asking if he had ever encountered such situations, to which he attributed his thoughts to alarming articles he had read online. She advised him to let go of negative thoughts, suggesting that such mindsets could lead to attracting the wrong people.

Following the release of this video, Kian84's comments were widely shared online, leading to criticism from netizens who deemed his views on women outdated.
