The popular group WayV is set to embark on their second concert tour, reaching out to global fans. The tour will commence with the '2025 WayV Concert Tour [NO Way OUT] in SEOUL' at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul, on August 2-3. Following the Seoul performances, WayV will visit a total of 14 locations across Asia, including Shenzhen, Nanjing, Nagoya, Osaka, Yokohama, Fukuoka, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Chengdu, Taipei, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Beijing.

This upcoming tour comes just six months after the successful conclusion of their first concert tour, which began in Nagoya in August 2024 and wrapped up in Seoul in February 2025. Fans can expect an upgraded experience filled with WayV's unique music and performances.

Ticket sales for the Seoul concert will be available through Melon Ticket, with fan club pre-sales starting on June 16 at 8 PM and general sales opening on June 18 at 8 PM.

Additionally, WayV will perform at the Busan One Asia Festival on June 13 at BEXCO Exhibition Center 1.

The Daejeon Yuseong Police have confirmed that they conducted a third search related to allegations of corporate card misuse by Lee Jin-sook, the Chairperson of the Korea Communications Commission (방송통신위원회), during her tenure as president of Daejeon MBC. The police are investigating claims that she used the corporate card for personal expenses at various locations. 

Lee, who served as president of Daejeon MBC from March 2015 to January 2018, is suspected of causing financial harm to the company through unauthorized personal use of the corporate card. In late July of last year, members of the Democratic Party, part of the National Assembly's Science, Technology, Information, Broadcasting and Communications Committee, visited Daejeon MBC for an on-site verification of the 'corporate card allegations' and subsequently reported Lee to the police. 

Civic groups, including the National Union of Media Workers and the Citizens' Coalition for Democratic Media, have claimed that Lee spent approximately 142.79 million KRW on the corporate card, frequently using it at high-end hotels and restaurants on weekends and holidays, indicating personal use. They filed a complaint against her for corporate card misuse on July 31 of last year. 

In January, four months after the complaint, police executed searches at Daejeon MBC and the administrative office of the Graduate School of Media at Sogang University, where Lee was enrolled during her presidency at Daejeon MBC. Reports suggest that the police found records of her using the corporate card at a bakery near the university. 

In response to the allegations during her confirmation hearing last year, Lee denied any wrongdoing, stating that she used the card within the set limits and in accordance with internal regulations, with detailed documentation handled by staff. A representative from the Yuseong Police stated that they are continuing to investigate whether the corporate card was used for personal purposes at the previously mentioned locations, but could not disclose further details as the investigation is ongoing.

Police Conduct Third Search in Investigation of Lee Jin-sook's Corporate Card Misuse

On June 9, police announced that they have summoned former President Yoon Seok-yeol for questioning regarding allegations that he attempted to obstruct the execution of an arrest warrant against him and ordered the deletion of sensitive phone records from the Presidential Security Service. This marks the first time police have requested Yoon's appearance since the declaration of a state of emergency on December 3. 

During a regular briefing, a member of the police's special investigation team stated that Yoon was asked to appear on June 5 but did not comply. The police communicated this request through Yoon's legal counsel, who provided reasons for his noncompliance, although specific details were not disclosed. A second summons is scheduled for June 12. 

Yoon is already under investigation for allegedly instructing the Presidential Security Service to prevent his arrest during a police operation in January. Additionally, police have confirmed that Yoon directed the deletion of sensitive information related to several military commanders from secure phones four days after the emergency was declared. 

On December 7, Yoon reportedly contacted Kim Sung-hoon, the deputy chief of the Presidential Security Service, asking about the regulations regarding server deletions and the frequency of such actions. Following this conversation, Yoon allegedly pressed Kim on whether it was acceptable to leave secure phones untouched for individuals under investigation. 

When asked if they would consider applying for an arrest warrant should Yoon refuse to comply with a third summons, police stated that they are currently only at the second summons stage and could not comment further. 

The police have completed most analyses of the secure phone server and surveillance footage from the Cabinet meeting on the day of the emergency declaration. Reports indicate that Yoon made direct calls to key officials immediately after the emergency was announced. 

Furthermore, police confirmed that information from the secure phone of former Intelligence Command Chief Noh Sang-won, who is suspected of conspiring with former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun regarding the emergency declaration, was deleted on December 5. Noh, who was a civilian at the time, received a secure phone from Kim and returned it after the emergency was declared, during which the deletion occurred. The reset secure phone is currently held by the Presidential Security Service. 

Additionally, police have summoned Health and Welfare Minister Cho Kyu-hong and Unification Minister Kim Young-ho, who attended the Cabinet meeting before the emergency declaration, to investigate the circumstances surrounding that meeting. Both ministers are currently under investigation for insurrection-related charges. Police noted that all Cabinet members present at the meeting prior to the emergency declaration have been reported as suspects.
