WayV Achieves Top 5 on iTunes Charts in 17 Regions Worldwide

WayV (웨이션브이) has made a triumphant return with their new mini-album ‘FREQUENCY’ (프리퀀시), topping various music charts. Released on November 25, 2024, WayV's sixth mini-album has reached number one on the iTunes Top Albums chart in 13 regions, including Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, the Philippines, Malaysia, Turkey, Guatemala, and Panama. Additionally, it has secured a spot in the top five in four more regions: India, Russia, Hong Kong, and Vietnam, showcasing the global interest in WayV's music.

The album also achieved the number one position on the daily Hanteo Chart in South Korea. Tracks from ‘FREQUENCY’ have dominated the AWA real-time rising chart in Japan, with songs from the new release occupying the top four spots, while previously released tracks from WayV filled positions one through thirty-nine on the same chart.

‘FREQUENCY’ features a total of six tracks, including the title song ‘FREQUENCY,’ which showcases a powerful old-school hip-hop vibe in both Korean and Chinese versions, highlighting WayV's diverse musical style.
