Upcoming Film 'Harbin' Promises an Immersive Sound Experience

The highly anticipated film '하얼빈' (Harbin), directed by Woo Min-ho and produced by Hive Media Corp in collaboration with CJ ENM, is set to captivate audiences with its rich sound design. On December 19, the production team unveiled a stunning Dolby Atmos poster that showcases the film's expansive visuals.
Set in 1909, 'Harbin' tells the gripping story of individuals heading to Harbin for a singular purpose, alongside those who pursue them, creating a tense atmosphere filled with suspense and intrigue. The film utilizes Dolby Atmos technology to enhance the auditory experience, capturing the journey of independence fighters across Mongolia, Latvia, and Korea with breathtaking soundscapes that heighten the film's suspense and immerse viewers in a unique cinematic experience. The sound design aims to amplify the thrill and tension of the independence fighters' harrowing chase to eliminate an aging adversary, promising an unforgettable movie experience.
To create a fitting musical backdrop, the team recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios, known for its work with The Beatles, further elevating expectations for the Dolby Atmos viewing experience.
In celebration of the film's release in Dolby Cinema, a special poster was released, depicting the independence fighters traversing the Mongolian desert. This visually striking image is designed to draw viewers into the intense journey of the characters, promising an experience unlike any other film.
