UN's Choi Jung-won Involved in Adultery Scandal as Court Rules Against Alleged Mistress

Reports have emerged confirming that Choi Jung-won, a singer and actor from the duo UN, has been implicated in an extramarital affair. On January 6, it was reported by Star News and Sports Kyunghyang that the Seoul Family Court ruled in a divorce case between A, who is alleged to have dated Choi, and her husband B. The court stated that 'the primary responsibility for the breakdown of the marriage lies with A, who violated her duty of fidelity by engaging in an affair.'

The court found that A had lied to B about attending a work dinner while meeting Choi Jung-won for intimate encounters. As a result, A was ordered to pay B 30 million won in damages. However, A has appealed the ruling.

Some media outlets speculate that this lawsuit may impact the damages claim against Choi Jung-won, who was previously sued by B for 100 million won for his alleged involvement in the affair. Choi has denied the allegations, stating that A is a family friend known since childhood.

Choi Jung-won has also filed a lawsuit against B for threats, defamation, and insult, but B was cleared of these charges.
