UNIS Dazzles at Their First Year-End Stage Performance

The group UNIS (유니스), consisting of members 진현주, 나나, 젤리당카, 코토코, 방윤하, 엘리시아, 오윤아, and 임서원, made a stunning debut at the '2024 KBS Gayo Daechukje Global Festival' held on December 20 at KINTEX in Ilsan.

UNIS showcased their versatile charm by performing both their previously released tracks and a special stage. They kicked off the festival with their title track '너만 몰라' from their first single album 'CURIOUS', captivating the audience with their winter-themed white styling and a powerful dance performance alongside numerous dancers.

The group also received a warm response for their intergenerational collaboration stage, where they performed '초련' with DJ KOO (구준엽), as well as members from groups Kep1er and TripleS. UNIS perfectly infused their unique style into the 2000s hit, recreating the iconic glow stick dance from '초련' and enhancing the festive atmosphere.

Their collaboration with the veteran DJ KOO highlighted the festival's special significance of uniting different generations and genres through music.

This year, UNIS has made significant strides across Korea, Japan, and the Philippines, quickly capturing the attention of global K-pop fans since their debut. Their first album 'WE UNIS' achieved an impressive eighth place in first-week sales for debut albums by girl groups, showcasing their remarkable potential as newcomers.

UNIS's momentum continued through the end of the year, as they attended various award ceremonies and took home a total of 12 trophies, earning recognition as the top rookie of 2024.

Looking ahead, UNIS plans to fill the remainder of 2024 with diverse global activities.
