Unexpected Romance in 'The Male Lead's First Night' Featuring Seo Hyun and Ok Taec Yeon

In the new KBS2 drama 'The Male Lead's First Night' (남주의 첫날밤을 가져버렸다), Seo Hyun finds herself unexpectedly intertwined with the character Ok Taec Yeon from her favorite web novel. The story follows a modern-day character, K (also played by Seo Hyun), who suddenly gets transported back to the Joseon Dynasty, embodying the role of Cha Seon Chaek, a minor character in the novel.

Upon realizing her new status as the only daughter of a wealthy family with three brothers, Cha Seon Chaek feels a sense of satisfaction. Most thrilling for her is the opportunity to witness the romantic entanglements of her favorite female lead, Jo Eun Ae (played by Kwon Han Sol), and the male leads, Jung Soo Kyum (played by Seo Bum Jun) and Gyeong Seon Gun Ibeon (played by Ok Taec Yeon).

Despite her attempts to ignore a scene where Jo Eun Ae is humiliated by the villain, Do Hwa Seon (played by Ji Hye Won), Cha Seon Chaek's concern for Jo Eun Ae leads her to experiment with modern drinking games, creating a buzz in the capital.

As the night unfolds, Cha Seon Chaek finds herself mixing drinks and enjoying the festivities, only to wake up in a warm embrace, shocked to discover that she is in the arms of Gyeong Seon Gun Ibeon. In disbelief, she questions, 'What have you done to me?' to which he coolly replies, 'What you did to me last night was quite something.' This unexpected twist sets the stage for a captivating romantic comedy filled with humor and intrigue.
