Unexpected Attention for Gukhwa on 'I Am SOLO, Love Continues After'

In the latest episode of ENA and SBS Plus's reality show 'I Am SOLO, Love Continues After' (나는 SOLO, 그 후 사랑은 계속된다), Gukhwa found herself in an awkward situation after receiving sudden attention from the male contestants following her self-introduction. The episode aired on March 27, 2025, and featured the first date selection by the women.

Baekhap chose Yeongsu from the third season, but was left hurt by his strangely cold demeanor. Meanwhile, Yeongsik from the 22nd season, who was not selected, decided to take a calm jog and strategize for his next opportunity.

Baekhap expressed her feelings, saying, "It's important who you drink with, and I'm glad to be drinking with Yeongsu. However, I regret choosing him. He didn't seem interested at all, and when we went out, he just walked away alone. He even asked me, 'What do you want to eat?' and then left. I wondered if he was upset that I chose him, as he didn't seem to care about me."

While drinking alone, Baekhap reiterated her thoughts. Yeongsu responded, "I enjoyed the date. I understand that Baekhap might have felt hurt, but I was curious why she kept bringing it up."

On the other hand, Yeongsik from the 10th season showed excitement during his date with Gukhwa. Although Kyungsu from the 14th season advised him not to express his feelings, Yeongsik firmly stated, "I won't. I'm focusing on my own romance."

Yeongsik then asked Gukhwa some questions and held her hand, feeling a sense of pride. He remarked, "I think Gukhwa responded well. Touching can create a significant synergy. I believe that physical touch and conversation are fundamentally different. I think we can see each other as potential partners."

However, Gukhwa's initial choice, Kyungsu, questioned, "Why did you switch to Yeongsik? Are we not forming a love triangle here?" showing a bold side of his personality.
