Uhm Jung-hwa Opens Up About Marriage Plans in New YouTube Video

Singer and actress Uhm Jung-hwa candidly addressed questions about marriage during a recent video on her YouTube channel, 'Umaizing 엄정화TV,' titled 'Why Baek Ji-young Called Uhm Jung-hwa, and Their Tears.' In the video, Baek Ji-young asked Uhm, 'Aren't you getting married, unnie?' to which Uhm humorously replied, 'Marriage is crazy.'

Uhm continued, 'Honestly, I never thought about marriage, but it seems like this is the time for it. Just casually, like friends.' She added, 'Having a baby is a different matter altogether.'

She reflected on the current era, saying, 'It feels like a good time. Our life expectancy has increased; they say we live to be a hundred, and I've lived about half of that. I'm halfway there.' This comment elicited laughter from viewers.

Baek Ji-young then expressed her desire to sing at Uhm's wedding if she ever decides to marry, jokingly asking, 'Should I sing 'Like I've Been Shot'?' Uhm responded with a laugh, 'Or should I have you sing 'Love Sickness' or 'Don't Forget'?'

Baek Ji-young shared that she thought it would be great to perform at Uhm's wedding, to which Uhm replied, 'I hope that kind of thing happens.'

Meanwhile, Uhm Jung-hwa gained significant popularity last year for her role in the JTBC drama 'Doctor Cha Jeong-sook' and is currently considering her next project. She actively engages with her fans through her personal YouTube channel, 'Umaizing 엄정화TV.'
