TWS Shines at HMA 2024, Celebrating Their New Artist Success

The K-pop group TWS (투어스), consisting of members 신유, 도훈, 영재, 한진, 지훈, and 경민, showcased their impressive talent by winning the 'Artist of the Year' award at the 32nd Hanteo Music Awards 2024 (HMA 2024) held on February 15 at the Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul.

In a video message, TWS expressed their gratitude, stating, "We believe this award is given to us by our fans, 42. We will continue to be a team that repays the love from our 42 fans." They added, "We debuted last year with excitement, and we will show you our continuous growth and effort in 2025, so please keep watching us."

With the addition of the HMA 2024 trophy, TWS has now accumulated a total of 14 awards from major ceremonies, including five main awards and seven rookie awards, making them the most awarded debut artist of 2024. They have also been nominated for the '2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards' and the '22nd Korean Music Awards,' solidifying their status as a leading representative of the next generation of K-pop.

TWS has made waves in the music scene with their unique genre, 'Boyhood Pop,' which evokes beautiful sentiments in everyday life. Their mini-album's title track, '첫 만남은 계획대로 되지 않아' (First Meetings Don't Go as Planned), topped the Melon 2024 annual chart, marking the first time a debut song has reached number one on this chart since 2010. Additionally, TWS has achieved remarkable success on global platforms like YouTube, Apple Music, and TikTok, ranking high on their annual charts.

As they continue to break records in their debut year, fans are eagerly anticipating what new music TWS will bring in 2025.

From February 14 to 16, TWS is holding their first fan meeting, '2025 TWS 1ST FANMEETING '42:CLUB' IN SEOUL,' at the Olympic Park Handball Stadium in Songpa-gu, Seoul. They will also meet their Japanese fans at the Musashino Forest Sports Plaza Main Arena in Tokyo on March 15-16 for three fan meetings.
