Released on December 18, STUDIO X+U's human drama 'Silver Bells Ring' (written by 홍윤정 (Hong Yoon-jung) and directed by 최병길 (Choi Byung-gil)) introduces sisters 박금연 (Song Ok-sook) and 박수향 (Yae Soo-jung), who find themselves grappling with newfound love in their twilight years. A master of traditional Korean clothing, 금연 embarks on a solo trip in search of a 'meal friend' and bravely decides to try a dating app. There, she meets the charming and well-built 성낙원 (Park Sang-won). The two agree to enjoy their connection without the constraints of age or societal expectations, leading to a liberating experience that helps them shed their accumulated burdens. In a romantic atmosphere, they end up spending a night together.

Upon returning to her daily life, 금연 finds herself unable to stop thinking about 낙원, but tries to dismiss it as a fleeting adventure. However, fate brings them together again at a gathering where 낙원 appears as an architect. Their conversation rekindles the excitement they felt that night, confirming that their feelings were genuine and not just a product of the moment. Yet, their desires clash: 낙원 wishes to keep their love as a fantasy, while 금연 yearns for a deeper connection in their everyday lives. Their relationship becomes public, leading to judgment and prejudice due to the stigma surrounding dating apps. Realizing the difficulty of overcoming societal biases, 금연 ultimately decides to end things with 낙원.

Meanwhile, 박수향 faces challenges as her husband 오석조 (Ahn Seok-hwan) struggles with early-stage cognitive impairment, which disrupts their daily life. Once a respected elementary school teacher who rose to principal, 석조 now spends his days in a daze, lost in his thoughts.

Suddenly, he begins to believe he is a 28-year-old elementary school teacher every afternoon, regaining his energy as he creates teaching materials. In this state, he refers to his lifelong partner 수향 as 'the landlady.' When they are together, he expresses a sweet sentiment, saying, "I can't remember who you remind me of, but I just feel happy being with you. I want to live together for a long time." 석조 also surprises 수향 by bringing her favorite yellow tulips, showing his desire to protect her not just as a sick husband but as a man in love.
