TWICE Kicks Off Their Sixth World Tour 'THIS IS FOR' in Incheon

The popular K-pop group TWICE is set to make a significant mark in their performance history with the launch of their sixth world tour, 'THIS IS FOR' (디스 이즈 포). The tour will kick off on July 19 and 20 at the Incheon Inspire Arena. Thanks to overwhelming demand, the Incheon concerts have sold out, leading to the opening of additional seats. On the second day, July 20, fans can also enjoy a live online broadcast through the Beyond LIVE (비욘드 라이브) platform, allowing even more fans to participate in this meaningful tour launch.
The new world tour 'THIS IS FOR' will feature a 360-degree stage setup, maximizing the immersive experience by breaking down the barriers between the stage and the audience. The members have shared their excitement and challenges in various programs, including 'SBS 8 News' and YouTube's '핑계고' and '안소희'. They expressed, "Performing in a 360-degree format is a huge challenge for us. We are working hard to fill the space with our performance alone, without relying on existing stage equipment, to deliver even greater energy. We have built a set in Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do, to match the stage height and are practicing daily, including using lifts. Although we are nervous since this is our first attempt, we are committed to this challenge because we believe that without trying something new, we won't have the opportunity to grow."
This tour also features collaboration with Moment Factory, a leading multimedia creative studio known for its work with global artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Ed Sheeran, Madonna, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and U2. They have recently showcased their exceptional directing skills in high-profile events like Kendrick Lamar and Usher's Super Bowl halftime shows, and they are expected to bring TWICE's narrative and energy to life on stage in a refined and powerful way.
As TWICE embarks on this unprecedented tour, they aim to enhance their reputation for delivering a dual sensory experience that captivates both visually and audibly. Following Incheon, the group will perform in Osaka on July 26-27, Aichi on August 23-24, Fukuoka on August 30-31, Tokyo on September 16-17, Macau on September 27-28, Bulacan on October 4, Singapore on October 11-12, Sydney on November 1-2, Melbourne on November 8-9, Kaohsiung on November 22, Hong Kong on December 6, and Bangkok on December 13-14.
TWICE's recently released fourth studio album, 'THIS IS FOR', has topped both the Hanteo Chart and Circle Chart for the week of July 7-13 and July 6-12, respectively, showcasing their immense popularity.
