TVXQ Releases New Single in Japan to Celebrate 20th Anniversary
TVXQ (동방신기) has made headlines today, July 20, 2025, with the release of their new single in Japan titled ‘月の裏でいましょう / Tsukinourade Aimashou’ (Tsukinourade Aimashou). The track was made available at midnight on various global music platforms. This new single is a reinterpretation of the city pop classic by Original Love (오리지널 러브), showcasing TVXQ's unique emotional style and strong vocals, which have resonated well with global listeners.
The lyrics of the song convey a heartfelt message, encouraging listeners to create miracles in a mysterious place that can only be found on the 'dark side of the moon.' This release marks a new beginning for TVXQ as they celebrate their 20th anniversary in Japan, emphasizing their enduring connection with fans and their commitment to continue this journey together.
In addition to the single, TVXQ has achieved remarkable milestones this year, completing a live tour to commemorate their 20th anniversary with a total of 33 performances at Tokyo Dome and 92 nationwide dome concerts, setting a new record for the most performances by a foreign artist at these venues. They are also set to hold fan events in Tokyo and Hyogo in November, allowing them to connect more closely with their local fans and create special memories.
Furthermore, TVXQ will participate in the upcoming ‘SMTOWN LIVE 2025’ concert at Tokyo Dome on August 9-10, 2025.
