TV Chosun's 'Mr. Trot 3' and 'Tralalala Traveling Troupe' to Take a Break

TV Chosun has announced that both 'Mr. Trot 3' (미스터트롯3) and 'Tralalala Traveling Troupe' (트랄랄라 유랑단) will not air this week. The network stated on January 2 that the episodes scheduled for January 2 and January 3 will be canceled, asking for viewers' understanding. This decision comes in light of the tragic accident involving a Jeju Air flight, which resulted in the loss of 179 lives out of 181 passengers. The government has declared a national mourning period lasting until January 4. Despite 'Mr. Trot 3' enjoying high ratings recently, TV Chosun has chosen to prioritize the national sentiment in response to this disaster. The incident occurred on December 29 when the Jeju Air flight 7C2216, arriving from Bangkok, attempted to land at Muan International Airport and crashed, colliding with surrounding structures and catching fire.
