Trot Star Park Seo-jin Reveals His Jam-Packed Schedule on KBS's 'Problematic Men'

Park Seo-jin (박서진), the reigning king of trot music, shared insights into his hectic schedule on KBS's 'Problematic Men' (옥탑방의 문제아들). Known as the 'God of Events' during his early career, Park has now become a leading figure in the trot genre, revealing that his week is filled with filming, events, and performances. He disclosed that during peak times, he would participate in 5 to 7 events a day, starting with early morning marathons and continuing until late-night shows. His stories even included a memorable event where he had to lead a dance for a thousand shaman participants, leaving the show's hosts astonished.

Park's schedule is so intense that he covers approximately 2,300 kilometers (the distance from Incheon to Mongolia) in just 3 to 4 days, necessitating a car replacement every 1 to 2 years. He also mentioned that his event fees have increased by about 100 times since his days of obscurity, underscoring his popularity as a trot sensation.

In a heartfelt moment, Park shared how he dropped out of high school to help his parents with their fishing business. After achieving success as a trot singer, he expressed his gratitude by building a three-story house for his family in his hometown and even opening a dried fish store. Recently, he constructed a new home for his parents in a bustling area near a supermarket, police station, and hospital, showcasing his love and support for them. His dried fish store has become a popular spot, reportedly attracting around 400 to 500 customers.

During the show, Park also recounted a painful experience from his early twenties when a senior artist, who disliked him, publicly insulted him and even attempted to have him removed from an event. This incident left Park in tears, and the hosts of 'Problematic Men' expressed their outrage at the treatment he received. Viewers can look forward to learning more about the current situation of the senior artist who troubled Park during the episode airing on Thursday, July 31, at 8:30 PM on KBS2.
