Trot Shows Dominate Entertainment Brand Reputation Rankings

In the latest entertainment brand reputation rankings, the trot shows Mister Trot 3 (미스터트롯3) and Current King of Trot 2 (현역가왕2) have claimed the top two spots, surpassing the popular reality show I Live Alone (나 혼자 산다). According to the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, the analysis of big data for January 2025 revealed that Mister Trot 3 secured first place, followed by Current King of Trot 2 in second, and I Live Alone in third.

Mister Trot 3 achieved a brand reputation index of 7,374,191, with participation, media, communication, community, and viewing indices of 1,261,518, 1,704,785, 1,303,675, 1,510,185, and 1,594,027, respectively. Current King of Trot 2 followed with a brand reputation index of 6,647,551, marking a significant increase of 116.73% from December's index of 3,067,134.

I Live Alone also saw an increase, with a brand reputation index of 6,224,337, up 11.21% from December's 5,597,000. Running Man and My Little Old Boy ranked fourth and fifth, respectively, with brand reputation indices of 4,273,903 and 4,228,718, both showing increases from the previous month.

Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute's CEO, Koo Chang-hwan, noted that the analysis of the entertainment program brand reputation for January 2025 showed a 5.95% increase in big data compared to December 2024. The detailed analysis indicated an 11.42% rise in brand participation, a 29.88% increase in brand issues, a 10.34% decrease in brand communication, a 5.76% rise in brand spread, and a 2.54% increase in brand consumption.

The link analysis for Mister Trot 3 highlighted terms such as 'compete' and 'intense,' while keyword analysis revealed 'blind,' 'all heart,' and 'trot king' as prominent. The positive sentiment ratio was analyzed at 89.54%. The study analyzed 103,867,865 pieces of big data from January 5, 2025, focusing on 50 beloved entertainment programs, reflecting a growing interest in these shows.
