Tragic Incident: Police Officer Found Dead in Busan

A police officer in his 50s was discovered dead from a gunshot wound at a police station in Busan. According to the Busan Police Agency, Officer A was found by two fellow officers around 10 PM on December 24, after they returned from responding to a traffic accident. It is reported that Officer A took his own life using his service weapon, and no suicide note was found. Authorities believe he died approximately 10 minutes before his colleagues returned to the station, as indicated by CCTV footage. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his death, including potential motives and causes.
