Tragic Incident in Yongin: Man Dies After Being Struck by Fallen Tree

A tragic accident occurred in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, early on the morning of the 28th, when a 69-year-old man, identified as A씨, was killed after being struck by a tree that had fallen due to the weight of accumulated snow. The incident took place around 5 AM in front of a single-family home in the Baegam-myeon area. A씨 was engaged in snow removal efforts when the tree suddenly collapsed onto him, causing severe head injuries. Despite receiving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and being rushed to the hospital, he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident, focusing on the tree's inability to withstand the heavy snow.
