Tragic Incident in Seoul: Man Attacks Neighbors Before Fatal Fall

A disturbing incident occurred in a villa in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, where a man in his 30s attacked two neighbors with a weapon before taking his own life. According to the Gwanak Police Station, the attack happened around 8:30 PM on June 29, when the assailant, identified as Mr. A, confronted a man in his 20s and another in his 30s who lived in the same building. Reports indicate that Mr. A rang the doorbell of the victims, whom he did not know, and suddenly attacked them with a knife as they opened the door. The victims sustained injuries to their shoulders, necks, and ankles and fled barefoot for approximately 200 meters to a nearby convenience store to seek help. Fortunately, they were transported to a hospital and are expected to recover without life-threatening injuries. Following the attack, Mr. A fell from the rooftop of the building and died. The police stated that since Mr. A is deceased, the case will be classified as 'no prosecution,' but they will continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
