Tragic Incident in Seosan: Man Found Dead in Flooded Vehicle

In Seosan, South Chungcheong Province, a man in his 50s was discovered dead in a submerged vehicle following heavy rainfall on July 17, 2025. According to local authorities and fire services, a report was received at approximately 3:59 AM regarding a vehicle that had been inundated on a road in Seoknam-dong. Emergency responders arrived on the scene and successfully rescued three individuals from one flooded car at around 5:14 AM. However, at 6:15 AM, they found another submerged vehicle nearby, where they discovered a man, identified as Mr. A, in cardiac arrest. He was rushed to Seosan Medical Center but unfortunately did not survive. Police and fire officials are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
