Tragic Incident in Paju: Young Woman Murdered, Suspected Attacker Found Dead

On January 26, during the second day of the Lunar New Year holiday, a tragic incident occurred in Paju, where a woman in her twenties was murdered, and the suspected perpetrator, also in his twenties, was found dead. According to police reports, authorities received a call early in the morning regarding a stabbing incident in the Munsan-eup area of Paju. Upon arrival, officers discovered a woman, identified as A, bleeding and unconscious, alongside a man, identified as B, who was also in his mid-twenties. A had sustained severe injuries to her neck and was pronounced dead at the scene, while B, who was conscious at the time, later succumbed to his injuries after being transported to the hospital. It is believed that A and B were in a cohabiting relationship. The police are investigating the possibility that B may have killed A before taking his own life. They are currently analyzing the couple's mobile phones and have requested autopsies.
