Tomorrow X Together Releases Solo Music Videos Following New Album Launch

K-pop group Tomorrow X Together (투모로우바이투게더), consisting of members Soobin (수빈), Yeonjun (연준), Beomgyu (범규), Taehyun (태현), and Huening Kai (휴닝카이), continues to generate buzz with the release of individual music videos for their solo tracks. Their fourth studio album, 'The Name Chapter: TOGETHER' (별의 장: TOGETHER), which was released on July 21, explores themes of connection and empathy, emphasizing the importance of calling each other by name to save one another and the world. The central message of the album is 'togetherness,' with each member expressing their interpretation of this concept through their solo songs, enhancing the overall quality of the album.

At midnight on July 30, the music video for Yeonjun's solo track 'Ghost Girl' was unveiled on the HYBE Labels YouTube channel, with subsequent releases planned for Soobin's 'Sunday Driver,' Taehyun's 'Bird of Night,' Huening Kai's 'Dance With You,' and Beomgyu's 'Take My Half.'

Yeonjun's 'Ghost Girl' is a reggae rock song that combines intensity with lyrical depth, portraying a fatal attraction to a ghostly figure that lingers in one's thoughts throughout the day. In the music video, Yeonjun reveals the obsession and anguish that love can create, incorporating the persona of an artist to amplify his emotions. He is seen painting in a state of confusion and wandering through nighttime streets, capturing the essence of his unstable feelings.

Filmed in London, the music video features the city's vintage architecture and alleyways, which enhance the emotional atmosphere of Yeonjun's performance. The recurring motif of moths serves as a metaphor for the theme of the song, likening the feeling of being drawn to a ghostly presence to a moth attracted to a flame.

Yeonjun expressed his satisfaction with the project through his agency, Big Hit Music, stating, "I wanted to portray a stylish yet decadent image and contributed many ideas. I feel like it captures a side of me that I haven't shown before."

Tomorrow X Together's fourth studio album has achieved impressive sales, recording 1,760,867 copies sold in its first week according to the Hanteo Chart. Notably, approximately 1.43 million copies were sold on the first day alone, quickly earning the group a million-seller status. In Japan, the album set a new record for the highest weekly sales for the group, selling 304,000 copies and topping the latest Oricon weekly album chart (August 4 edition, covering July 21-27).
