Timothée Chalamet Expresses Disappointment After Oscar Loss

Timothée Chalamet recently faced disappointment after failing to secure the title of 'youngest' Academy Award winner. On March 3, local media outlets, including Page Six, reported that Chalamet was left feeling 'completely let down' following his loss at the 97th Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
Chalamet was nominated for Best Actor for his role in 'Complete Unknown,' a film depicting the youth of Bob Dylan, competing against actors like Adrien Brody from 'The Brutalist.' Previously, Chalamet had won the title of youngest SAG Award winner for Best Actor for the same role, leading many to speculate about his chances at the Oscars.
However, the award ultimately went to Adrien Brody, and immediately after the announcement, Chalamet was seen looking down, momentarily revealing his disappointment. A body language expert commented on his subtle movements, noting that while he showed a brief moment of dismay, he quickly regained his composure, demonstrating maturity.
After the loss, Chalamet was spotted turning to kiss his long-time girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, before embracing his mother who was seated next to him. He later congratulated Brody on his win and posed for photos with other nominees.
Chalamet and Jenner's relationship first made headlines in April 2023. Jenner, a single mother, was previously married to rapper Travis Scott in 2017, with whom she shares two children, Stormi and Aire. The couple announced their divorce in early 2023, shortly before news of Jenner's relationship with Chalamet emerged. Despite facing breakup rumors, the couple attended the Academy Awards together, showcasing their affection for one another.
