The Seasons: Park Bo-gum's Cantabile Premieres with Star-Studded Lineup

The highly anticipated music talk show, The Seasons: Park Bo-gum's Cantabile (더 시즌즈-박보검의 칸타빌레), made its debut on KBS 2TV on March 14, featuring an impressive lineup of guests including singer Noh Young-shim, Sunwoo Jung-a, Jung Joon-il, SEVENTEEN's Hoshi and Woozi, and actors Kim Yoo-jung, Jin-young, and Kwak Dong-yeon, who delivered a variety of unique performances.

Park Bo-gum opened the show with a special performance of Melomance's 'Let's Take a Break' and introduced himself as the MC responsible for 'Gyeomyoil' nights, expressing his excitement about returning to hosting after a decade since Music Bank.

The first guest, Noh Young-shim, who hosted the inaugural KBS music talk show 33 years ago, shared her insights with Park Bo-gum, complimenting his hosting skills and encouraging him to maintain his fresh energy. Their conversation revealed a growing comfort as Park Bo-gum showcased his developing hosting abilities.

The two hosts, past and present, shared a heartfelt moment by performing 'On the Way to School' on the piano together. Park Bo-gum also sang 'No Matter How Much I Think of You,' the OST from the drama 'Love Generation,' which Noh Young-shim had worked on as a music director. He mentioned that IU, who recently collaborated with him on 'Pocksak Sogassuda,' recommended Noh Young-shim's song 'Photo Album,' leading to a special duet performance.

Noh Young-shim's close friend, Sunwoo Jung-a, made a surprise appearance to perform 'Imagination,' the OST from 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo,' alongside her.

In a show of support for Park Bo-gum's first recording, actors Kim Yoo-jung, Jin-young, and Kwak Dong-yeon gathered together. Park Bo-gum expressed gratitude for their participation, noting their long-standing friendship since their time on KBS 2TV's 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds.' During their talk, they surprised Park Bo-gum with a performance of D.O.'s 'Popcorn,' which they had secretly prepared. Kwak Dong-yeon humorously shared that they had rehearsed in secret, adding to the fun atmosphere.

Former MC Lee Young-ji also joined the stage spontaneously, recalling her previous comment that the MC of The Seasons should perform aespa's 'Supernova.' Park Bo-gum learned the challenge on the spot, and the two showcased great chemistry, receiving enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Jung Joon-il delivered an emotional performance of his hit song 'Hug Me' before congratulating Park Bo-gum. He expressed his hope that someone who genuinely loves music would host the show, inspiring musicians like himself to want to perform. He also prepared a cover of Park Bo-gum's OST 'My Person' from 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds,' to which Park Bo-gum expressed his gratitude, noting it was his first OST.

SEVENTEEN's Hoshi and Woozi premiered their new song 'Same Age' on the show, showcasing their energetic charm. Park Bo-gum praised them, and they engaged in a playful compliment battle, reminiscing about their first meeting when Hoshi was a Music Bank MC. Woozi shared his gratitude for Park Bo-gum's support back then.

Since the premiere coincided with White Day, Park Bo-gum performed SEVENTEEN's 'Candy' on the piano, creating a special moment with Hoshi and Woozi. Hoshi also surprised the audience with an impromptu live performance of Bang Yedam's 'Why,' captivating everyone with his warm voice. The show reached its climax with Hoshi and Woozi's performance of 'STUPID IDIOT,' energizing the audience.

To conclude the show, Park Bo-gum sang IU's 'Meet You on Friday,' personally distributing candy to the audience, making it an unforgettable 'Gyeomyoil' experience.
