'The Seasons - Park Bo-gum's Cantabile' Delights Viewers with Musical Charm

'The Seasons - Park Bo-gum's Cantabile' filled viewers' evenings with joy and happiness. The KBS 2TV music talk show aired on March 28, featuring artists such as Okdal, Urban Zakapa's Jo Hyun-ah, Seo In-guk, and NMIXX, all centered around the theme of 'Between Love and Friendship.'

Park Bo-gum, who sweetly opened the 'Gyeomyoil' night, showcased his musical talent by performing impromptu piano renditions of both hit songs and album tracks, earning the admiration of his fellow musicians. Guests expressed their surprise, saying, 'The energy is different,' and 'I didn't know he was this good.' His light-hearted humor also contributed to establishing a unique MC persona, adding fresh entertainment to the show.

The first guests, the long-time friends Okdal (Kim Yoon-ju and Park Se-jin), performed a warm and nostalgic rendition of 'Nothing is a Merit,' specially arranged for 'The Seasons.' Park Bo-gum, who grew up listening to Okdal's music, shared his emotional connection, stating, 'Listening to 'Okdal' from their first album and '40' released last year made me feel overwhelmed.'

The playful banter between Park Bo-gum and Okdal provided additional entertainment. Okdal shared that they had found a new home under Kim Yoon-ju's management, and when Park Bo-gum jokingly expressed interest in switching labels, Okdal enthusiastically invited him, saying, 'Come on! I'll let everyone go!' This led to laughter among the audience. Okdal harmonized beautifully with Park Bo-gum's piano performance of his favorite song, showcasing a perfect impromptu jam session. Okdal praised Park Bo-gum's musical skills, saying, 'You can't just learn this; you know how to produce beautiful sounds,' to which Park Bo-gum humbly replied, 'I learned by listening to the music of my seniors.'

Seo In-guk, who reinterpreted Fin.K.L's 'Ruby' with a clean tone, introduced himself as 'Yoon Yoon-jae returning after 13 years,' evoking memories from 'Reply 1997.' He and Park Bo-gum reminisced about their time together in the 2015 drama 'Remember You,' showcasing their brotherly bond. Seo In-guk mentioned that his friends nowadays don't even know he's a singer, expressing his eagerness to share good music soon. Park Bo-gum suggested they perform Seo In-guk's self-composed drama OST 'Flower' on the spot, which Seo In-guk executed flawlessly.

Seo In-guk also shared behind-the-scenes stories about his duet 'Couple' with Jung Eun-ji, performing a one-man show with a dialect reminiscent of the drama. Park Bo-gum proposed an impromptu reenactment of a famous line from 'Reply 1997,' thrilling everyone with a nostalgic moment. The duo's performance of 'Couple' was a delightful display of their bromance.

Jo Hyun-ah sweetly colored 'The Seasons - Park Bo-gum's Cantabile' with her rendition of Ann One's 'Love Alone.' When Park Bo-gum revealed that he had set Urban Zakapa's songs as his mini homepage background music, Jo Hyun-ah praised him, saying, 'You created Urban Zakapa.' Park Bo-gum humorously responded to Jo Hyun-ah's emotional reaction to home shopping, saying, 'That's a bit strange, isn't it?' but acknowledged her talent for crafting emotionally rich songs.

Jo Hyun-ah shared an episode related to 'I'll Give' and performed a duet with Park Bo-gum, creating a rare two-shot moment. They also showcased a duet of 'Inevitability,' where Jo Hyun-ah couldn't help but admire Park Bo-gum's piano skills and vocals. Park Bo-gum learned Jo Hyun-ah's unique singing style from the drama 'Poksak Sogassuda,' impressing the audience with his powerful voice. In return, he humorously taught Jo Hyun-ah some acting tips for her debut role.

NMIXX took the stage with their new song 'KNOW ABOUT ME,' expressing their honor in performing live with Jeongmae and Kungchitachi. NMIXX's official 'Bubuz' members Haewon and Lily delivered explosive harmonies with their cover of Bishop Briggs' 'River,' saved for 'The Seasons.'

When asked what they would do for friendship, a humorous debate about toothbrushes arose among the members. NMIXX also performed an impromptu version of DAY6's 'HAPPY,' reimagined with Park Bo-gum's piano accompaniment. They concluded the show with a medley featuring Rosé's 'Toxic Till the End' and Beyoncé's 'Love On Top,' showcasing their vocal chemistry until the very end.
