The Romance Between Go Yoon-jung and Jung Joon-won Blossoms in 'Once Again, the Wise Resident Life'

In the latest episode of tvN's weekend drama 'Once Again, the Wise Resident Life' (언젠가는 슬기로울 전공의생활), which aired on May 10, the long-awaited romance between Go Yoon-jung's character, Oh Yi-young, and Jung Joon-won's character, Koo Do-won, finally takes a turn as Koo responds to Oh's persistent affections, leading to the birth of the 'Ogu' couple (Oh Yi-young + Koo Do-won). This pivotal moment has left viewers' hearts racing.

After a long internal struggle, Koo Do-won finally acknowledges his feelings for Oh Yi-young and proposes a dinner date to confess his love. Meanwhile, Oh Yi-young faces her own challenges while filming a new program at Yulje Hospital, where she encounters the ambitious fellow, Myung Eun-won (Kim Hye-in), who is causing chaos both on and off camera. Frustrated by the situation, Oh Yi-young sighs at Koo Do-won's suggestion to cancel their plans.

Later, while returning home, Oh Yi-young runs into Koo Do-won at a playground and expresses her disappointment about the canceled dinner. Observing her drooping shoulders, Koo Do-won decides to forgo his planned romantic gesture and instead confesses, "I like you, Oh Yi-young." In response, Oh Yi-young playfully states, "I’ve confessed many times, so you know, right?" and they share a heartfelt embrace and kiss, thrilling viewers with their chemistry.

In another subplot, the unexpected connection between first-year residents Eom Jae-il (Kang Yoo-seok) and Kim Sa-bi (Han Ye-ji) is revealed. While trying to unwind at a karaoke room, Eom Jae-il, a former idol, performs one of his hit songs, much to the delight of his colleagues. Kim Sa-bi, in a moment of excitement, reveals her hidden fan side, creating a romantic scene reminiscent of a fan meeting.
