The case of theater actress 최성희 (Choi Sung-hee), who has been missing for eight years, was featured in the recent episode of tvN's '이 말을 꼭 하고 싶었어요' (I Really Want to Say This) aired on December 16.

The couple, residing in Busan, seemingly vanished without a trace, leaving their parents and friends in disbelief as they shared their concerns in interviews. After returning home, the couple was never seen again, and when their parents attempted to contact them, they found the house in disarray, suggesting a hasty departure.

A friend of 최성희 revealed that she had been passionate about acting but disappeared just three days before a scheduled performance, leaving behind only a single text message. Another friend disclosed that 최성희 had been receiving numerous threatening calls from her husband's ex-girlfriend prior to her disappearance, which caused her significant distress.

The threats from the ex-girlfriend were severe, with claims that she would kill 최성희 if she married her husband. This situation likely contributed to the emotional turmoil that 최성희 was experiencing. Notably, the ex-girlfriend, who currently lives abroad, returned to Korea just before 최성희's disappearance and left the country on the day the investigation into the case began, raising further suspicions.
