The JTBC drama 'Good Boy' (굿보이), featuring Park Bo-gum (박보검), Kim So-hyun (김소현), Lee Sang-yi (이상이), Heo Sung-tae (허성태), and Tae Won-seok (태원석), has finally brought together its full cast of medal-winning special agents. In the latest episode, the powerful special team, formed from medalists, has come together to tackle pressing issues. Shooting prodigy Ji Han-na (김소현) initially submitted her resignation in frustration over being used merely as a promotional figure for the police, but later retracted it. The pivotal moment came when Yoon Dong-joo (박보검) sought to uncover the truth behind the unjust death of his junior, Lee Kyung-il (이정하), which was linked to a gold watch that also belonged to his late father, a former police officer.
Kim Jong-hyun (이상이), who had previously declined to join the special team, felt the limitations of internal investigations within the police department. He reported potential leaks of sensitive information while investigating the major crime syndicate 'Gold Rabbit Gang' and the circumstances surrounding Lee Kyung-il's suicide, but was met with orders to remain silent. His unease grew when he discovered that someone had accessed Ji Han-na's personnel file, prompting him to join the special team.
Under the leadership of team captain Go Man-sik (허성태), a wrestling bronze medalist, the team now includes boxing gold medalist officer Yoon Dong-joo, shooting gold medalist officer Ji Han-na, fencing silver medalist officer Kim Jong-hyun, and discus bronze medalist officer Shin Jae-hong (태원석). On June 8, the 'Good Avengers' will embark on their first operation, dubbed the 'Monkey Operation,' which promises to defy conventional methods. The production team hints that a key line from Go Man-sik, "Sometimes you have to make bad choices for the sake of justice," will resonate throughout the episode.
