The Culinary Challenge That Moved Lee Hee-jun to Tears Revealed

In the upcoming episode of JTBC's cooking variety show, 냉장고를 부탁해 (Please Take Care of My Refrigerator), set to air on January 5, guest Lee Hee-jun will witness a fierce culinary showdown using the ingredients from his own refrigerator. Chefs Choi Hyun-seok and Kim Poong will face off against Park Eun-young and Lee Yeon-bok in a battle of flavors.

Returning after a five-year hiatus, the show has garnered attention for its format that pits original chef teams against challenger teams. In the previous episode, the original chef team, consisting of Lee Yeon-bok, Lee Mi-young, Choi Hyun-seok, and Edward Lee, triumphed over challengers Jung Ho-young, Choi Kang-rok, Kim Poong, and Park Eun-young, securing a 3-1 victory.

In this revenge match, the matchups are set: challenger chef Choi Hyun-seok against original chef Kim Poong, and challenger Park Eun-young against original chef Lee Yeon-bok. Interestingly, neither has visited a restaurant that requires waiting in line, and they will tailor their dishes to suit the palate of Lee Hee-jun, who prefers lighter flavors.

Park Eun-young, who previously wowed audiences with her fried ice cream creation titled 'Happy Pasday,' is expected to surprise viewers again with her innovative ideas and presentation. Fans are eager to see what dish she will present and which of the four chefs will resonate with Lee Hee-jun's emotions.

Additionally, as Lee Hee-jun's refrigerator is being explored, MC Ahn Jung-hwan unexpectedly engages in a debate with Choi Hyun-seok over peanut butter. The reason behind their disagreement and its resolution will be revealed in the January 5 episode.

Also joining Lee Hee-jun as a guest is Song Joong-ki, who will act as a protector for Lee Hee-jun, ensuring he remains candid in his responses.
