THE BOYZ's Sangyeon Enlists in Military Service

Sangyeon, the leader of the K-pop group THE BOYZ, officially enlisted in the military on March 17, 2025. He entered the basic training center to undergo fundamental military training before serving in the Army's military band. To ensure safety and avoid confusion, no special events were held for his enlistment. With Sangyeon, the eldest member of the group, joining the military, THE BOYZ will enter a period of military service. However, the group continues to promote as a 10-member unit, releasing their third studio album, 'UNEXPECTED,' on the same day. Sangyeon debuted with THE BOYZ in 2017 and has gained popularity with hits like 'Boy,' 'Reveal,' and 'Watch It.' He also showcased his talents as a musical actor in the recently concluded musical 'Bloody Love.' On March 8, he held a fan meeting titled 'Sangyeon Jeon' at the Hanwha Art Center in Seoul, reminiscing with fans about their shared memories.
