The Boyz's Ju Haknyeon Denies Prostitution Allegations Amid Growing Controversy

Ju Haknyeon, who was recently expelled from the K-pop group The Boyz, has denied allegations of involvement in prostitution. However, the situation is escalating. On June 19, a netizen filed a complaint with the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul, requesting an investigation into the prostitution claims against him.

The allegations stem from a report by a Japanese publication, which claimed that Ju was seen engaging in intimate behavior with Japanese adult film actress Asuka Kirara during a meeting in Tokyo. The report suggested that this encounter was not merely a social gathering but rather a setup for prostitution.

In response, Ju stated, "I did attend a drinking gathering with acquaintances on the early morning of May 30, and while I was present, I have never engaged in prostitution or any illegal activities as suggested by the articles or rumors."

Despite his denial, the netizen has requested an investigation into potential violations of Article 4 (Prohibited Acts) of the law regarding prostitution. Furthermore, the complaint also implicates a former producer from Ju's agency, One Hundred, suggesting that they may have been involved in facilitating or aiding the alleged activities. The netizen urged the police to identify this individual and thoroughly investigate their involvement in the prostitution claims.

While Ju Haknyeon continues to deny the allegations, the involvement of a former producer has intensified the controversy surrounding the case. Following these events, Ju has officially left The Boyz and terminated his contract with One Hundred.
