The Boyz Member Ju Haknyeon Leaves Group Due to Personal Issues

Ju Haknyeon, a member of the K-pop group The Boyz, has officially left the group due to personal matters. On June 18, the group's agency, IST Entertainment, announced that after thorough discussions with the members, they have finalized Ju Haknyeon's departure and the termination of his contract.
According to a report from News1, Ju Haknyeon was spotted at a private bar in Tokyo at the end of May, where he met former adult film actress Asuka Kirara. Kirara, who debuted in the adult film industry in 2007, retired in 2020 and is currently active as an influencer.
The report revealed that Ju Haknyeon visited a bar in Roppongi with acquaintances on the night of May 29, and he was seen embracing Asuka Kirara during the outing that lasted until the early hours of the following day.
Previously, on June 16, IST Entertainment had announced that Ju Haknyeon would be pausing his activities due to personal circumstances. However, following the emergence of reports regarding his private life, the agency changed their stance to confirm his departure from the group.
IST Entertainment stated, "Upon receiving information about Ju Haknyeon's involvement in personal issues, we immediately took action to suspend his activities and took time to verify the facts. As a result, we recognized the seriousness of the situation and acknowledged that it would be difficult to maintain trust in him as an artist."
They further explained, "This decision was made as an unavoidable measure to protect the remaining members of The Boyz and the team as a whole. Ju Haknyeon will cease all activities as a member of The Boyz effective immediately."
The agency concluded by assuring fans that they would provide full support to the remaining members of The Boyz to ensure they can continue their activities in a healthy manner. They also expressed their sincere apologies to fans for any distress caused and promised to work hard to bring better news in the future.
