THE BOYZ is ramping up preparations for their comeback following the recent departure of member Ju Haknyeon. Their agency, 1theK, announced today (July 8) via official social media that the group's 10th mini album, titled 'a;effect (에이이펙트)', is set to be released on July 28.
The teaser schedule image released indicates that fans can expect a variety of content starting tomorrow (July 9) with a trailer, followed by a track list, concept films, three types of photos, package and album previews, and two music video teasers. The dynamic and stylish design of the teaser hints at the narrative and mood that this album will convey, creating excitement among fans.
'a;effect' marks the group's return approximately four months after their third full album, 'Unexpected (언익스펙티드)'. The previous teaser video showcased a warm atmosphere reflecting the freedom of youth during late nights, and this upcoming album promises to present a more mature and bold musical and visual identity.
Since their debut, THE BOYZ has established a distinct identity through their albums. Their third full album achieved impressive sales, surpassing 740,000 copies, marking their fourth half-million seller and successfully launching a new chapter in their career. With announcements of new music and a world tour titled 'THE BLAZE' later this year, anticipation for their continuous activities is at an all-time high.
