The highly anticipated teaser poster for Squid Game (오징어게임) Season 3 has been released. On January 1, Netflix shared a post on its official social media, stating, "The games of Young-hee and Cheol-soo, the innocence of childhood, are not over. Squid Game Season 3, coming in 2025, exclusively on Netflix," along with a teaser video.

The video features Young-hee singing 'Mugunghwa Kkot-i Pieot Seumnida' alongside Cheol-soo, who made his first appearance in a previous clip. The teaser poster shows Young-hee and Cheol-soo standing together against a backdrop of a sunset, contrasting with the clear sky of the song, raising curiosity about what new games will be introduced.

Additionally, when Netflix released the teaser on YouTube, the description included, "Watch Squid Game on June 27 on Netflix." However, the video is currently set to private, leading to speculation about whether it will actually premiere on that date.

Meanwhile, Squid Game Season 2 debuted on December 26. According to FlixPatrol, an online content ranking site, the Netflix original series has topped the global Netflix series charts for six consecutive days since its release.

Notably, Squid Game Season 2 has achieved the number one spot in 93 countries, spanning continents from South America, including Argentina and Brazil, to North America, Europe, and Asia, including Turkey, Hong Kong, and South Korea.
