&TEAM Tops Oricon Chart with New Album 'Yukiakari'

The group &TEAM has made a remarkable entry into the Japanese music scene by reaching the top of the Oricon chart with their latest release. According to the latest Oricon chart released on December 18, &TEAM's second studio album 'Yukiakari' (雪明かり) debuted at number one on the 'Daily Album Ranking' for December 17. This achievement follows their previous hits 'Samidare' (五月雨) and 'Aoarashi' (嵐), marking a triumphant conclusion to their seasonal series with a winter theme.

'Yukiakari' serves as the finale of &TEAM's seasonal series, which has spanned spring, summer, autumn, and winter. The album symbolizes a new beginning and hope for the nine boys, showcasing their growth and unity. It features four new tracks, including the title song 'Yukiakari', 'Deer Hunter', 'illumination', and 'crescent moon's wish' (三日月の願い), along with Korean versions of 'Yukiakari' and 'Deer Hunter'. The album was crafted by a team of renowned producers, including VINCENZO, Bang Si-hyuk, Soma Genda, Cirkut, and Knoak.

Prior to the official album release, &TEAM generated excitement among fans by unveiling music videos for 'illumination' and 'Yukiakari'. The title track 'Yukiakari' translates to the phenomenon of light reflecting off snow, illuminating the surroundings, and encapsulates the aspirations of the boys embarking on a new journey. The song begins with an emotional guitar riff that transitions into a dynamic melody. The music video portrays the strong bond among the nine members as they navigate through the seasons together, featuring stunning choreography against a snowy backdrop. The 'illumination' music video captures the beauty of winter, evoking a youthful and nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of a coming-of-age drama.

Following their impressive comeback, &TEAM will hold a showcase in Tokyo, Japan, on December 19 to celebrate the album's release and continue their active promotions.
